Golang Job: Computer Network and System Engineer

As a Network Engineer in Layer2 APAC, you will research, analyse and recommend strategies for important customers to maintain the integrity of their network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

· Perform troubleshooting across Collaboration Solutions

· Participate in the development internal solutions

· Work closely with our customers to assist them in building and deploying features and applications.

· Champion new/improved design and testing methodologies

· Working on implementation, integration and support activities. You will work and interact with hardware and software teams as part of the system development, integration and verification processes.

· As part of this role, you will be working very closely with both internal engineering, SW and HW.

You must have 10+ years of experience in Telecommunications Engineer and/or relevant tertiary education within Information Technology.

Required background

· Expected to have solid technical acumen in Service Provider’s (SP) technology

· Strong knowledge in voice/video communication and expert in Cisco collaboration solutions such as Webex and Telepresence.

· Hands-on experience in installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, design (LLD and HLD) of Cisco Telepresence and Cisco Unified Communication solutions

· Proficiency with server-side languages such as C#, Javascript, Typescript, Visual Basic, Go, Python

· Build new systems with REST APIs using .NET technologies.

· Strong knowledge of web applications and cross platform desktop applications

· Experience working with multiple databases Portgresql, MySql and Sql Server.

· Performs analysis and gather system requirements

· Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role for web applications

· Experience working on a big, complex VueJS SPA

· Producing automated tests using .NET Framework - xUnit and MSTest

· Experience of software-automation production systems and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) with GitLab

· Strong experience in Go (Golang)

· Experience with REST APIs

· Design, Lead and implement large projects

Qualification:

· Diploma in Software Development or related field

· Certified in Programming

· Diploma in Computing and Communications Networks

· Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: Web Applications

· Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer: App Builder

Desirable knowledge:

· Cisco Webex

· Cisco Telepresence

· Cisco Unified Communications

· Cisco Collaboration Technology

· UI Design & UX Design

· Backend: REST APIs

· Platforms/Frameworks: ASP.NET, Entity Framework Core, Vue.js, Vuetify, xUnit, MSTest.
